Flea Girl Vintage believes it’s a pieces story that make decorating your nest a home. Whether it’s an artist’s signature on an original watercolor, a handwritten message or makers mark on a piece of folk art or the indelible “signature” left by a craftsman’s dovetailing on a handmade piece of furniture. These unique thumbprints tell the maker’s legacy and provide the present day collector with unique, one-of-a-kind conversation pieces. As one of my biggest design icons, founder of the Arts and Crafts movement said, “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be beautiful or believe to be useful.” I hope to share items that have both beautiful form, function that are wrapped in inspiring story.
