Lora Taub Studio

I am a studio potter making functional wheel thrown and slab built tableware, tile, lighting, and objects for the home. My approach is informed by utilitarian design, inspired by nature and my surroundings: the textures of mossy wood, lichen-laced stones, shadowed ferns, sunbleached wood, patinaed metals, and rusted steel. I am drawn to the relaxed earthy opulence of ceramic objects and to sharing them with others who connect with the pleasure and nuance of the handmade.
